They accompany people with disabilities through everyday life – reliably, lovingly and with a clear goal: more independence, safety and enjoyment of life<\/strong>.<\/p>

Assistance dogs have officially been considered aids in Germany since 2021. Despite this, there is still no state funding. That is why we are campaigning:<\/strong> <\/p>

We collect donations – for suitable dogs, their professional training<\/strong> and the individual support of the human-dog teams.<\/p>

Depending on the situation, different funding options<\/strong> are available. We want to see people blossom<\/strong> – with an assistance dog at their side.<\/p>

Many of our dogs work with children and young people. But sometimes a dog shows that it is better suited to an adult. The Assistenzhunde Helfende Pfoten gGmbH<\/strong> was founded in May 2023 – by seven people with a deep connection to working with assistance dogs.
It was formed from the merger of the association Helfende Pfoten and Gut Paulshof Assistenzhunde GbR<\/strong>.<\/p>

Our shared vision<\/strong>: to accompany
people on their way to finding the right assistance dog – with expertise, respect and genuine participation.<\/p>
