Life in a flood of stimuli and retreat

An assistance dog as an anchor for Chris

For many, everyday life is taken for granted.
For Chris, it often means a struggle: against excessive demands, isolation – and the feeling of never quite belonging.

A late diagnosis of autism brought clarity. But what is missing is a reliable companion:
An assistance dog that calms, protects – and provides support.

Chris tells

“For a long time, I didn’t know why I felt so alienated in this world.
Noises, light, touch – everything was often too much. Conversations stress me out, unfamiliar situations quickly overwhelm me.

Only the diagnosis in adulthood brought relief: I am autistic.
That was the beginning of self-acceptance.”

What's missing: Financing

You need to train, accompany, care for and look after your dog:

📌 32.700 €

Chris cannot raise this sum on his own.

How an assistance dog can help

A specially trained assistance dog could:

  • Early warning in the event of overstimulation
  • Reassure through closeness
  • Enabling retreat without being alone
  • Offer security in social situations
  • help people to trust themselves more again

In short: it would be anchor, bridge and companion – in the midst of the storm.

Every contribution counts

With your support, you are helping Chris to lead a more self-determined life.

You give trust, security – and a loyal partner on four paws.

Chris asks for your support

Every donation - whether 5, 50 or 500 euros - brings Chris closer to independence. Help us to ensure that Chris no longer just functions, but can finally live.
