Max would like to retire
A lifetime of help - now he needs your help
Max is an experienced assistance dog. He has accompanied his team partner Anja for many years – through difficult times, loud memories and quiet successes. But now Max realizes that it’s time to pass on the baton.
Milow is ready.
Milow is young, curious and full of energy – a Miniature American Shepherd with a colorful coat in red and white. He should learn what Max has been able to do for so long: help when memories become too loud. As he needs a lot of training, we are asking for your support.
What happens next?
… Let’s just let Max tell the story:
“Hello, dear people – I’m Max.
A few years ago you helped me to become an assistance dog.
Since then, Anja and I have been a strong team.
We have achieved a lot – thanks to your help.
But now I’m getting older. I can no longer do everything.
And that’s why Milow came to us.”
“Milow is like me. Only younger – and a bit more colorful.
He should learn how to get out of nightmares, calm down in crises and help in everyday life.
Just like I did. Every day.”
Milow’s training – a new chapter
Milow needs to be able to support Anja well:
- Basic obedience & everyday training
- Behavioral training for difficult situations
- Exercises to wake you up from nightmares
- Calming with sensory overload
- Tasks such as operating light switches or calling for help
- Preparation for the state-approved assistance dog team test
Costs: approx. 18,000 € – including veterinary care and all tests.
