Certified as a training center for assistance dogs

In January 2024, we were recognized by DGP GmbH (German Society for Prequalification in Healthcare) as a training centre for assistance dogs – in the following areas:

Mobility assistance dogs

Warning and alert dogs

PSB assistance dogs (psychosocial support)

This certification included both external and self-training.

On March 20, 2024, we were informed that DGP GmbH had returned its approval as a specialist body.

In a communication from the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (BMAS) dated March 21, 2024, it says

DGP GmbH has informed us at short notice that it has returned the accreditation […] with effect from 15.04.2024. […] As there is currently no possibility of certification by a specialist body, the following applies:

Non-certified training centers can continue to provide training until they are approved by a new technical body or other approval regulations.”

We are in close contact with the BMAS and will keep you up to date.
