Every donation goes towards training assistance dogs for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses or mental stress. Accredited by Assistance Dogs International since 2024. Non-profit limited company based in Overath.

A Two-Year Training for an Assistance Dog
An assistance dog is individually trained for its human over a period of two years – from puppy socialization and basic training to specialization in medical warning signals, PTSD interruption or mobility assistance.
What all belongs to the costs:
- Purchase of the puppy
- Health checks and vet
- Feed over two years
- Tax and insurance
- Socialization in the sponsor family
- Basic training and special training
- Final examination
The total cost per assistance dog is at least €25,000. Hardly affordable for a family with a child or young person with a disability. That’s why your donation is valuable.

From the First Lesson to a Shared Life
