Helfende Pfoten

Strong together - humans and dogs

For a self-determined (children's) life

There are moments when a dog can do what no human can:

A silent companion in times of fear. A confidant when everything becomes too much. A calm anchor in everyday life.

This special bond between man and dog must not fail because of money.

That’s why we create places where:

  • Children and young people with disabilities find their assistance dog
  • Families get relief and a hearing
  • Training dogs with heart, mind and time to become reliable helpers

What we do - with your help

Eine ältere Dame mit ihrem Hündchen.

We …

  • advise families with special challenges
  • select suitable puppies with assistance dog potential
  • train these dogs professionally and lovingly – adapted to the needs of people
  • accompany human-dog teams on their journey together
  • support future trainers through training and professional guidance

Some of our puppies initially live with experienced foster families until they are ready to be used as assistance dogs – often with children who have had no reason to smile for a long time.

Support a real team for life

Donation projects

Even after the successful test, our human-dog teams need support. Because with an assistance dog comes responsibility, ongoing costs – and new opportunities.

Your donation …

  • Provides structure and security in everyday life
  • Provides support in challenging situations
  • shows: No one is alone

And you? You go to bed at night with the good feeling of having really made a difference.

Helfende Pfoten

With heart, mind and certified training, Helfende Pfoten caringly accompanies human-dog teams on their journey together.
