Help Franzi realize her dream of having an assistance dog
Franzi lives with a rare, neurodegenerative disease. She is in an electric wheelchair and is dependent on help in everyday life.
Her greatest wish: a faithful companion on four paws, a dog that loves and supports her and helps her to feel safe and free again.
“Hello, my name is Franziska – Franzi for short.
I am in an electric wheelchair due to a rare neurodegenerative disease. My greatest wish has always been to have a loyal companion on four paws by my side – a dog that not only loves me, but also helps me in everyday life.
An assistance dog can help me to be more independent and safe. For example, it would operate light switches, traffic lights or elevator buttons, pick up dropped objects, help me get dressed and undressed and press the emergency button in emergencies.
But the most important thing: he would also be my door opener to the world.
On days when I have to wear my breathing mask, I often feel the irritated looks from other people. An assistance dog would give me courage and confidence – so that I can move freely, safely and happily in public again.
Unfortunately, training a dog like this costs around 30,000 euros, not including the aftercare – a sum I can’t afford on my own.
That’s why I’m asking for your support. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps me on my way to a better quality of life and more independence.”

and above all: to give courage and confidence
